Hi Todd,
                  It was operator error. When switching to the small TX, I accidentally switched to the wrong output of the keyer.
When hooked to PTT it would key down for a solid 40 minutes or so then pause for 5 minutes or so before begininng another cycle.
I fixed the problem and went QRO at 830 PM EDT.

Hi Warren,
       Don't know if you have fixed the  keying yet but your 250 watt 
carrier was
easily visible daytime here at 1PM EST on QRSS 10 at 870 miles
distance. Also visible on QRSS3. Would be very easy copy
at QRSS30 or QRSS60 daytime at this distance.
 
It looks like you might be working on it around 1:20PM EST when the carrier 
 stopped
and started up again about 1:25PM EST?
