Eric, if you measure the actual L being used to resonate the antenna, you 
can plug that and the frequency into the resonance formula and determine the 
antenna capacitance very accurately.

A capacitance bridge can sometimes give you a direct reading by connecting 
one post to the ground system connection and the other to the antenna, but 
depending on the circuit, it's possible stray 60 Hz pickup can affect the 
result.
