Garry, Dex, and Dick; Thanks for your reports on " XR " .
That's a nice shot during late morning Dex, as strong as that
looks, " XR " might have been going another hundred miles up
the road.
Congrats on the new PC setup Dick. The capture you have is the
best one from you so far from a clarity standpoint. Hope it
holds up for you.
Garry, thanks for mentioning that " XR " did well thru the night.
I recently took the RF Ammeter out of line, and started using the
FS meter again. It was hooked up anyway, and I compared output
peaks between them, and they both peaked at the same time.
Why I removed the RF Ammeter was the fact that it measured
3.1 Ohms DC resistance. Removing it and retuning the signal
resulted in a higher FS reading than with it in the circuit.
I don't remember who it was that said, " anytime you can lose
an Ohm; Lose it " It's good advise.
