Do like I did in my dad's shop. I took one 10k btu A/C unit, measured
the wall for a hole. Took out my Sawzall and cut a neat hole in the wall
to slide the A/C unit in. That was several years ago. It cost so little
to keep that 36' by 36' insulated room cool that he leaves it run 24/7
in the warm months. It turned his screaming hot shop into a second home
for building all sorts of cool things.
Radio relation? I do all my electrical work in his shop when I am out
there as it is so darn comfortable to work in there.
Nope on the Prius pic. That is my preferred vehicle to travel the US
when we are out & about though. Awesome mileage. That is what I drove to
FDIM & Dayton. Hauled several hundred pounds of goodies back home that
trip...hi hi. Heading out in a month on another venture in the Prius
but this time I am taking my new FT-817ND along for some portable
operating while Denise is at her meetings. I am building the Multiband
Fuchs Antenna Matching Unit tonight so I can run 40m on up with one 69'
wire antenna. Last week I traded in a bunch of my older radio's and
stuff on a new FT-817ND at the local ham radio store. Walked out the
door with a store credit & the new radio...hi hi...Out with the old and
in with the new. Should be a fun rig for my travels. It will also be
great for the new transverter on my bench.
