Hi All,
Rik Strobbe ON7YD wrote back to me  and told me he wrote a new version
of his QRS software, QRS V4.08.

He  added the ability now that when you choose 0 minutes for repeat
it will now  repeat the text message immediately instead of rounding
off to the next  minute start time.

This means you can run a simple QRSS beacon with even  a single letter call
at a faster speed like QRSS1 or QRSS3
and it will  repeat the call continuously like a normal beacon.

To get it to work this  way set the number of repeats at 0 (repeats 
continuously),
set repeat  interval to 0 and disable the time synchronization tab. Also be 
sure to  add
at least one space after the text or else the text will repeat  immediately 
with no
spacing when it repeats.

Rik hasn't added the new  version yet to his QRS software download page
but if anyone is interested  write to me and I will send you the new 
version.
His current version is QRS  V4.06.

Also his ON7YD homepage has lots of good info on 136KHz  operations
and technical info. Lots of good reading there!
