Ralph a grabber centered on 10.140050 would be nice. Most are running qrss3
or 6. ;

Here are some links to info about the 30-meter beacon activity:

Hans Summers made a presentation on qrss at Dayton and sold 100 of the 30
meter beacon kits.
Mike we0h and I each bought a kit. I have mine assembled but been too busy
with rebuilding lawnmower to finish antenna.
There are several grabbers world wide, listed on the above sites. I had one
of my loading coils and spare tx on display at FDI M qrp
convention at Dayton, after Han's talk on qrss I had lots of interest in the
lowfer beacon. I handed out over 80 business cards with my
email address, LWCA link, and link to our part15 yahoo group. Lots of
interest.

My battery failed a couple of days ago on the lowfer beacon, again I have
been too busy to replace it. My riding lawnmower broke a ring and I
bought a new mower. Mike w5mdc had an engine, his transmission broke and he
scrapped the mower. So I spent three days putting the "new engine"
in my old one in all this heat!

Let us know how your situation is , we are remembering you and your family
in our prayers.
