[Lowfer] Level settings

I would say run the rf full up. Reducing the rf gain can upset the avc in 
some rec's. I note on ARGO that changing the gain changes the db level on 
the screen but signal/background ratio stays the same.

I also note the NB in my Pegasus seems to desense the Argo captures.

My main rec for lowfer is a TS-50 which does not have rf gain control only 
an attenuator.

Last couple of nights I have been copying WEB(427 miles) . This moring he 
was in from 0330 am to 0530 am local time(0830-1030 utc).

Interesting thread, hope others chip in.
