No need to run a linear final if it's constant amplitude FSK.
I've been running MFSK, Amtor, Jason, Domino EX, Olivia, RTTY, Thor etc for the past couple weeks
through the kilowatt Class D amplifier. Setup is linear exciter > frequency doubler > Class D final.
The input stage to the Class D is a flip flop to develop both phases...thus the need for 2X
frequency.
Circuit below was thrown together with workbench 'pre-used' parts. It could probably be simplified /
improved but worked so well I've been using it as is. Only downside is the Class D is 95% efficient
compared to the big Hafler at < 50% so the shack isn't as warm ;~)
