I must admit if I fail to "lose" a warbly from a laptop psu/screen (dell mostly) I pull a spare AC PSU out of the draw and try that - Ive got some that are awful at 60KHz but great at 137Khz and others poor at 500kHz - etc - I got to 20T on a large 77 toroid before I saw a good reduction, I think Ive got a J type out there too.

This present hotel is dang quiet so Im guessing not a lot of spurii current running around from A to C via Z  - and nearly all the noise from the room doesn't make it to the probe -
