[Lowfer] Core material on monitor cables

Andy I think you have one of the AADE inductance meters. Download MINI 
RING CORE CAlCULATOR if you dont already have it. You can wind say 10 
turns , measure that , and input the dimensions in the MMRC program and 
it should tell you what the core material is. 

Back about 20 years ago I dumped all the cores from my part drawers and 
ordered a supply of amidon cores from a good source. Woo HOO all of a 
sudden my projects started working , Wonder why. BAck then we didnt 
have the tools available now. Computers probably have a lot of good 
cores if we just knew what they are.
