While experimenting with a feedline isolation transformer last night,
I noticed a lot of " scratch " sound while listening to NDB - DIW.
I switched to A.M. and tuned to 196 KHz and heard a LW station.
Then I went to 183 KHz, and Europe-1 was 10 dB over S-9. Propagation
was HOT, so I parked on the Watering Hole overnight, and caught at
the least, traces of four signals at the same time in one capture.
" MP " " CV " " WMS " and the " WM " graphical ID. They're not
perfect copy, but this is the best reception I've had on 185.300
By 4:30 am EST ( 09:00 UTC ) the lowFER band just bottomed out !!
no more signal the rest of the night, not even at dawn. It sure was
fun while it lasted, you can see the best capture I got here :

I did have to do some brightening up to make some of the signals
clear enough to know they are there. Squint, look close, use a
magnifying glass, you'll see them. hi - hi
