I see the temps are UP Charlie - Im thinking of playing on the watering hole with a very low power tx and loaded vertical hanging out of the hotel window...! I don't know yet but running a transmitter again (last was what back in 2004?) has me stoked.  Will come up and say hello when I get back...

Nice morning here on the commute - about an hour from home to here in Central Anchorage - still dark at 0849 and will be for another hour or so. Temps around 0F/10F here - something you guys got used to over the last couple of weeks.

Very quiet on receive overnight which is a good or bad thing - I did see a faint Green/bluish Auroral arc at around 20 deg above the horizon this morning at 5am, and that doesn't bode well from here - I didn't see much Transpolar HF stuff coming thru on 7MHz WSPR either which is another pointer.
