I have run the TS50 side by side with the HP SLM and the TS50 runs
circles around the HP. But I cant
rec as well as Ralph. I am in an extremly quite location, so I credit
Ralphs sucess with his preamp. I have never got 100% copy on you and CV
, comparing with Ralphs grabber at 100% copy. WEB booms in here, this
time of year I often get 24 hr copy. I alternate between long wire and
PA0RDT mini whip.
Sometimes one is better , sometimes the other.
Sad thing about moving to watering hole, is I cant listen for you and
CV without turning mine off. So nice to have Ralphs grabber. I'll have
to check the grabber for propagation.
Maybe Peter and Garry and others will chime in with reports. Should
make it easier for them to have more of us on the same screen. Maybe
with a little arm twisting Dave W0CH and others will reactivate their
grabbers.
I wonder if Ralph could save some ISP time by updateing every five or
ten minutes? OR every screen full.
