"Beacon EAR at full steam" -- JB, ah yes indeed it is. I first saw it at 3P Sat. but weak, then perked up at 2A this morning. Seems there was another sig lower on Argo, anyone know of it?
I also peaked the rx loop tuning it at 188KHz and that surely helped. Tonight I'll rotate to N-S and check on WEB and RM at the high end.
The loop has 20 turns so only about 280pFs bring it to the 185 spot. The caps and toride coil are at the loop in a mod'd tel-com box. That type is made well for the wx and never a prob to open in the cold.

Hello Lowfers,
I've been out to the "doghouse" to remove the ice/snow accumulation and have tweaked the variometer to put
beacon EAR back to normal power level. Final current, antenna current, and FS are now back to baseline
readings, so some reports from afield would be appreciated.
