Jay,

I concur that conditions seemed better in late November and early
December. Back then WEB was easy copy even at QRSS3 rate. If it's
related to the increase in sunspot activity (finally!) that activity
sure hasn't done much to liven up HF propagation here, at least not yet.
VLF seems about the same with Australia strong in the morning and
European/Iceland stations coming through in the evening.

I saw a bit of WEB last night using QRSS30, but it was in and out. I'm
seeing EAR again in the daylight so J.B. has worked on it or some
self-healing against the winter weather has occurred. Nothing seen
during daylight of RM here although the KI0LE grabber shows its running.

It was nice to find out about Fldigi and the Thor FEC modes thanks to
you and XGR/3. I wasn't at home but saved some captures via Irfanview on
autopilot and sent one to /3.
