It has some slow-speed versions of MFSK, as well as a newer mode called 
THOR. Both of these modes have forward error correction, and are well 
suited for environments with fades and static crashes.

XGR/3 will be on 510.500 kHz tonight starting at 0000Z in THOR 8 mode. 
Jay may do a run of his own, and we may try a QSO later. Reports of how 
these modes handle deep fades would be appreciated. We are particularly 
curious about how quickly copy is restored.
