Another example of " Never throw anything away " I'm working late
at the stations tonite, and while recording some programs for air,
I saw an old monitor in the floor that I had planned to " Gut Out "
for parts. I figured; " No time like the present " Opened it up,
and as always I look at the yoke to see what wire it has, and how
difficult it will be to dis-assemble it. The yoke was solid LITZ
wound !!!!, even the open frame transformers are LITZ wound.
This is the first video device I have ever opened up and found it
full of LITZ wire. It looks to be about a #22 guage size, unserved.
I don't know how many strands are in each bunch, and it is not
super tightly twisted. *** Weekend project *** figure out how
to get the yoke apart, and unwind the wire without damage to it.

What will I do with it ??? Heck I don't know !!! still too much
to learn about wire and coils, etc, etc:: BUT !! It's LITZ wire !!

Yeee - Haaahhh !!! ( like a kid with a new toy )

Hmmmmmm -- maybe a 600 meter mobile ant. loading coil ???
