I don't know why; fascination I suppose. I used an audio analyser
program with a real time tone frequency meter to look at the
mystery data burst signal. It has a pilot tone of 1000 cycles,
and an audio frequency shift of +80 cycles maximum. The data tones
are each 10 cycles apart from 1,020 up to 1,080 cycles. Watching 
the frequency meter, I can see the tone frequencies changing on
the readout, of course, very rapidly within the 1 second burst.
