[Lowfer] Ribbon cable loop antenna for receiving

Hi all:

Read about it, thinking about it, anyone tried it ??

40 conductor PC ribbon cable connected end to end as long as 
you want the loop to be. Then on one end leave wire #1 open,
and connect 2&3, 4&5, 6&7, and so on to 39&40. On the other end,
you do it backwards. Connect 1&2, 3&4, 5&6, and so one until
you connect 38&39 and #40 is open. This will make a 40 turn
flat loop with wire #1, and wire #40 being the connect point.

Waste of time ???
