Don't know about your area...
Check irigaiton suppliers, industrial or commercial pipe suppliers, here we
have a lot of Farm Supply stores, since there is a lot of agriculture around
here. A sprinkler or irrigation supply house would be the cheapest.
Don't let them BS you about rising aluminum prices if they want too much for
it. I recently picked up about 250# of aluminum sheet from a sign company,
the owner said the recycler, who is about four miles away, won't pick it up,
despite being free, no money in the stuff. I tried to give him $20 for the
load, he said is wasn't worth it, he was happy to get rid of the stuff.
If you are going to guy your mast, the thin-wall stuff is OK. There is one
fellow south of here making full wave 160m beams with "torque tube", heavy
wall, used in the tractor style sprinkler systems. Check out the GIANT
spoked wheels if you find a shop, I can't help but htink how great these
would be for a top-hat hub:

The pipe in the above photo is "five-inch torque-tube".
Look at a local pipe-house for "riser clamps", heavy steel, great for guys:

I've moved 24' on my truck (Toyota 4Runner) without trouble, haven't bought
a 50 footer yet, no doubt I'll need flags, maybe my Wife in the truck ahead
of me for an "escort". The pipe is light, two people can move it easily.
