I'm drooling over this one too but think I'll still drool over a Perseus 
for Rxing. I don't see the Flex as being a replacement for the Perseus.

I have heard about the Flex having issues because of Rx filtering on the 
front end being only available for the ham bands. I understand with the 
receiver path routing board that external filters can be added for other 
frequency ranges. Not sure if you would wind up being any cheaper than 
just a Flex and a Perseus?
