Well - its been a struggle but I made it onto the W5JGV grabber on 298. Antennae is a 50ft piece of wire out of the hotel window, and using the window frame as Earth and little over 3mH inductance. I need to add a little more inductance today as I had to place earth wires "just so" close to the loading coils to resonant and little bit of ferrite too. The hand held neon testing screwdriver lights up till about 1ft from the wire so its pushing something out! Thanks for the grabber Ralph.
