Hi Craig, Lowfers,

The bottom of my loading coil/variometer is grounded.  The final is coupled to it by winding three turns of
insulated #18 hookup wire over the lowest turns of the loading coil/variometer.  There is no direct or hard
connection between the final and the antenna circuit.  The results speak for themselves!
