The radio station NMF NAVTEX transmitter is actually on the
Massachusetts Military reservation.
It runs a single vertical antenna and runs about 1-2 KW.
Last time I say some specs was a few years ago.

It is NOT physically located in Boston. It is located in FN41sr or rr on
western Cape Cod
between Sandwich and Bourne.
I can see the vertical from my tower.

NMF is one of the 2 Coast Guard radio sites on the East coast. All
connections to the radio operators
are via telephone lines, in other words the (RX) radio operators are
remoted elsewhere.

NMF is a large transmitting antenna field. Lotsa HF directional arrays.
Last I visited about a decade ago,
there were about 10 to 15 Collins 10KW transmitters using some of the
biggest
continuous flexible runs of air dielectric coax I have ever seen.
Nothing like directional log periodic wire arrays to put the signal
where it is needed.

GL with the NAVTEX intercepts.
