" EAR " is one of the hard ones for me to catch here. The distance
is only 566 miles, but there is always some sort of interference
almost on top of him. ** I'm going to park at the watering hole
for the rest of the night and see who shows up.

Been home alone today, so spent it tracking down more noise makers
in the house without anyone getting aggitated because I needed to
unplug something. Found, and filtered the power supply on my
daughters " WII " It was radiating a pulsating or motor-boating
type of noise. Not anymore !! The HDTV is a pesky one. I have
reduced its noise to a level that is acceptable. One source of
noise that I don't know how to deal with is the cable modem.
I'm not really sure where the noise is coming from. Unplug it,
and of course the noise goes away, unplug the CAT-5 from the
modem to the router and the noise goes away. But where I am
thinking the noise is actually coming from is the input cable
for the internet. I can disconnect the cable line from the
modem; and all noise goes away, with the modem, and router still
powered on. It's a raspy, or growling type of noise that is
constant in intensity. It dosen't change with internet data
movement. Most likely it will be an inside the modem issue.

It certainly has been a rare quite listening day. I have had the
opportunity to unplug everything, and enjoy the radio.

73 to all for now :::
