Hi All...

I'm interested in the Part-15 rules issue and, yes, it's been batted about many times on this List. But no complaint there as all discussion helps each individual appraise or foment his own stand on it. Plus I don't recall anyone getting out of joint over it.

Great, I like JD's take on the length rule and "standards" in general. An occasional reminder on such a topic should be cyclical for this bunch.

But here I also like Bill's handle of the matter. The 50X50 is a reasoned (yes, personal) interpretation that also considers the LF lay-of-the-land, practice wise and with the best intentions set before Us and not the FCC.

I don't think buggin them is at all wise over this rule. It has been done before without clarification. For those that believe Part-15 JUST relates to a simple wire-dimensioned 15M antenna, that's OK too. But it's not the only way to conceptualize it.
