Greetings one and all: Happy New Year to everyone on the list...
I hope my comments will have a sensible attitude in them.
A smart man knows when to walk away; or Live to fight another day.
To my surprise, YES, I have created somewhat of a stir in the
International WSPR community, spilling over to individual " hams ".
I was excited about it, and thought my lowFER WSPR beacon was a
good thing. Unfortunately, that's not turning out to be the mindset
of the WSPR community.. I'm starting to be responded to as if I am
a " bootleg CB-er ", and no amount of explanation is doing any good.
This is turning out to be one of those time where the more I explain,
the deeper in the do - do I go.. I have thouroughly enjoyed my activity
under Part-15 rules. It has been a thrill, and in NO WAY do I want to
jeapordize it for myself, and everyone else... WSPR is not worth it !!
There are other modes, JASON in particular, that I think will outperform
WSPR... What I thought was a good thing hasn't been. WSPR is too high
profile, with WWW. exposure, and is starting to bring out the people
who consider themselves to be the " ham radio police "...
The possibility exists, that calls can start being made to the FCC from
Un-Informed individuals about my " boot-leg " operations on an
" Un-Authorized band " ... THAT !! Gentlemen, I DO NOT want to happen.
As I said; WSPR is not worth it ! But OUR hobby is. It's probably a
good time to bring the Chihuahah inside so he'll stop " yapping " and
disturbing the neighbors.... I appreciate all you guys, and I'll pull
the plug, before I ever cause any problems.

73 guys, and the best to everyone in 2011
