The evening started fine with SJ coming through via QRSS20, ARGO, slow
on 186.8493 kHz. However, a long look at the 185.3 kHz watering hole
didn't produce anything other than local SIW. Conditions were good early
morning to the SW as several Mexican NDBs were logged along with the
usual MOG in CA on 404 kHz. 518 kHz Navtex decoding was normal except
that Bermuda, $04B, managed to capture of long-winded $12C in San
Francisco once. The morning noise floor here is rather quiet but only
the usual cast of LF/VLF signals is being seen, including the Alpha family.

Might have done better but Santa Claus, on a pre-flight check, knocked
over our Christmas tree in the middle of the night. So time had to be
spent cleaning up instead of tuning the radio.
