Reed, a reconstruction of the October 2005 "ultralinear active whip" article

I should point out that this unit is not well suited for the 1 - 30 kHz 
ELF/VLF range that Doug is interested in, but as designed and tested, is a 
respectable performer for LF.

The original illustrations were no longer at hand and had to be scanned from 
the publication, so we may revise the PDF to incorporate a redrawn schematic 
later.
