Hi Zack:  YES;

The first 3 photos ( sorry for the quality ) show the passive means
I used with my lowFER Vertical to receive at VLF..The Vertical
connects to the Inductors to lower the resonance of the short ant.
The " TEE " High Pass Filter is next, and connects to the sound card
input.. A couple of Back to Back Silicon diodes going to ground at
the Sound Card MIC input is recommended for minimal static protection.
The air variable is connected where ever in the circuit that will
bring the antenna to resonance on the desired frequency.
I used Alberto's WinRAD software for receive, and it is an excellent
program.. That particular setup was a quickly calculated, and thrown
together circuit at this time last year to try to receive " SAQ "
Unfortunately, I didn't get them, but I was able to hear the big
MSK stations with no problem, and could see on the waterfall others.
My approach was the uttmost simplistic way..
