[Lowfer] W1VD modified Amrad whip tested (Steward toroids)

I haven't seen any mention of use of Steward high permeability toroids that 
Digi Key carries. (Mouser might also carry them, I'm not sure.) They're much 
cheaper than ones from Amidon, plus are epoxy-coated with no sharp edges 
when winding with magnet wire. I've switched to only using Steward cores. 
This link gives the ones that Digi Key carries, look at the bottom of the 
page for the pertinent hi mu toroids.
