WOW, WOW, WOW !!! Oh, and did I remember to say WOW !!! Thanks Jay !!
Man that makes me feel good, and please forgive my childlike thrill..
713 miles !! YEEEE-HAAAA... This is like the way I felt when after
days of trying to get a TA decode on 160 meters; it finally happened.
This morning, before checking my emails, I had almost convinced myeslf
that WSPR was a washed out idea, and was thinking about giving up,
because in my limited understanding of the digimodes, and their thruput,
I thought that WSPR being FSK, and with a baud rate around 1.8, and
error correction would have the best chance of getting thru at LF..
There may be a better mode, I don't know.. But it would have to be able
to deal with some frequency drift with this old radio.

Garry: Thanks for looking.. At least seeing a weak signal in the
waterfall display is encouraging...

BTW; I am not fudging on the power output.. It is set at 1 watt DC.
can't say that the temptation to " crank it up some " hasn't crossed
my shoulders.. you know; the 2 little guys standing 1 on each shoulder
wispering in my ear... :>{ ( psssst; I hear voices... )

On a parting note for this post; Unless there are records that I can't
find on the WSPRnet site; It looks like I may be the first Part-15
beacon on 1750 meters to be decoded... That is also a big feeling of
accomplishment.. Won't win any awards I don't suppose, but it's exciting.

73 everyone, and have a great day:
