Hi all: I had actually planned to try again at getting the WSPR
signal running thru the Class " D " PA...But there is one thing
that I have learned about plans, and promises..They are made to
be broken, A 2 hour honey - do list on the way home grom work
changed all those plans, so I just fired up the WSPR beacon
again using the Audio amp PA. It held in good all night, and
Dougs decodes from early this morning had a better SNR than
over the weekend on the average.. Only a guesstimate, but I am
probably close to 70% efficiency level, if even that good, so,
I'm not going to be burning the remaining leaves off the trees
with my signal....Also, it appears to me that my WSPR signal
at the present may be close to a QRSS-3 signal, not very good
for long haul attempts...
Lloyd, we are only 463 miles apart, but if you go to QRZ.com
and look up my callsign, then expand the heading map showing the
bearing between us; you'll see that my signal must travel thru
much mountainous terrain to get to you. Even with skywave; I'm
certain that affects reception. Most likely no problems on your end.
Thanks to Dick, and Garry for trying again...

WSPRnet did not show you in the "Activity" link until I started
receiving. Do you think a station has to actually receive a signal
before the transmitting station shows up on the Activity page and/or
the Map?

Doug: Thanks again for the spots on WSPRnet. Receiving a station
will post it on the database, but a transmitting station will show
up by having WSPR running and transmitting.. I have found out that
I must switch to receive every once in a while to continue showing
up in the activity list.. At the moment, I have my transmit set at
75%, and I may need to lower that to around 66% because it's not
switching over to receive as it should...
Finally; some things I forget, and some things I remember...
I do remember a comment from John A. - W1TAG, not to get hopes up
too high about WSPR at LF.. It wasn't designed for LF, but rather HF.
I suppose that WSPR's drawback for LF use, is its Through-put..
It's a little too fast, and the LF noise is an enemy to WSPR too.
I do hope that you guys won't get completely discouraged, and just
quit trying for decodes, and I do realize this; it may take just
leaving your receiver on overnight to get any decodes..
OK, thanks for reading, and Best holiday wishes to everyone:
