Laurence,

Conditions don't get much better than this...right time of the year, and 
very low activity from the sun, at least up until tonight. Am seeing one 
indication that some sort of "kick" may be on the way.

None of the good signal is attributable to a decent antenna...the thing 
remains disfigured since the 2008 ice storm. The now-dead big branches 
that I have been expecting to come down have not. But the thing does 
still work after a fashion.
