Tom,

   There are quite a few in use on 500kHz, I know that Marshall W1HK has one, KL7UW has one.
I myself have four, two of the 500kHz versions, one on 137kHz and a 137kHz unit modified for 180-190kHz.

They are pretty neat, they have a synthesizer, keyer and swr bridge built-in, they also receive bandpass filter and converters (which I don't use).
Sort of a Swiss Army knife of LF/MF transmitters.
