Makes sence, JD. (I did say: "I know they rarely print something
technical").
In a way it is too bad. I really enjoyed the monthly magazine back then.
But, I must say we didn't have the internet then and if I could only have
one, I'd pick the internet any day of the week. I'm not a designer, but I
love to build things. Seems like the most interest these days by more guys
is receiving and capture. There is not much new stuff anywhere or the
transmitting side. I have been having "eye ball" meetings with Bill Bower
"WEB", and he is a real joy to get to know. Bill, of course, continues to
refine his knowledge of loading coils and antennas. He is the one plus "CV"
who got me interested again in Lowfer activity and putting a beacon on the
air.
