I thought it might be well to mention again that I do not operate the
WSPR beacon during the daytime while I'm at work. I shut it down
before I leave. To much storm, and lightening activity during the
hotter months to chance leaving the antenna connected while I'm not
there. Weekends might be different; if for some reason someone were
to be interested in daytime reception tries, that can be arranged.

Thanks to everyone who may have tried to receive the WSPR signal
Monday night. I'll turn it back on again this evening, and try WSPR
for a few days. I do want to try some other modes too, now that I
have the capability to do so.

Hi Andy,
I put the R75 receiver on your frequency last night USB mode with narrow
filter
but there wasn't any signal that I could see on the viewer and no decodes.
I
couldn't see anything on QRSS either looking at your frequency.

I think the overnight propagation conditions on 1750 meters have really
gone downhill since the long winter
nights and a couple of weeks ago I couldn't see anything on QRSS either.

I think WSPR takes a bit more signal-to-noise ratio compared to QRSS 30 or
60
to get a readable copy but glad you are giving it a try and will run it a
few more nights.
I will let the receiver run a couple more nights here also to see if I can
get any WSPR
decodes.

If the weather is nice enough you might try a daytime test with Dex as I
remember he was able to get QRSS copy on your beacon in the daytime.
