Andy

It's very easy to build a power supply using a 120/12 v transformer,
2 diodes and 2 electrolytic caps. Hook up as a voltage doubler to get
approx 32 volts dc, full wave output. Select transformer, diodes and
caps according to current and ripple requirements. Typically, the cap
should be around 1 to 4 mf/ma of load. The higher cap values give
lower ripple. Hope this helps.
