[Lowfer] dead bands

Last night I only copied MP and SIW around the watering hole. EAR is 
also doing fine around 188.83 kHz. I saw very weak traces of WEB when I 
looked at 189.95 kHz briefly around 0700Z. A few days earlier it was 
much stronger.

Neil, W9NU, reports he has a lowfer beacon about ready to go at the 
watering hole. That may be the only thing to look forward to until 
winter conditions return. HF conditions are quite poor here too. Only 
VLF seems to be about the same.
