Just got back from Ozarkcon the 4sqrp convention. One of the presentors gave
a talk on class e amps and drivers
I hope to get a dialog going with him and maybe resolve your problem with
the transverter.
He can get 5 watts out of irf510 with 90% efficency. Driver is a 74c86 which
converts sine to square wave.
I gave a talk on Part 15 beacons and weak signal reception. I made copies
of my slide show on cd, ten
hams requested the disks so maybe we will have some new converts.
WMS was down when we returned , had to replace transistor in final. Must
have had t'storm while I was gone to Branson, MO.
