If you have an HF transceiver , you might want to consider building a 
transverter , like Andy and I are doing .

They are fairly simple and easy to build . Andy and I are both using 
completely different designs . Mine was built from parts on hand in my 
junkbox . I am using a 10MHz. IF and Andy is using a
28.00 MHz. IF . Pretty small parts count , with fairly common parts .

Neither of us has posted our designs yet , because we are both still in the 
process of testing them .

I think John , W1TAG , www.w1tag.com , has a sideband exciter posted on his 
web site , which is yet another way to go .
