[Lowfer] DAVE CURRY

    For the past 20+ years Dave has been a member of our Sunday morning 
"lowfer net" on 3927 kHz at 7:30AM PST.  For the past ten years or so he 
has been very busy with education and starting a family and has 
completely given up on the idea of making lowfer kits.  His experience 
with kits and dealing with the public was very unsatisfactory and he 
lost a lot of his enthusiasm.  At the moment he is moving into a new 
house and completely tied up with that.  He has been working on some new 
designs which might be of interest and his intent is to have a source of 
boards and schematics at some time in the future for those who want to 
roll their own.   At the moment Steve McGreevy, N6NKS, is experimenting 
with a prototype of his receiver but I don't know Dave's plans for 
disseminating information about it.  He is also working on designs for 
Part 5 transmitters.  I suspect Dave is much too busy to do much 
corresponding these days but for those who might want to contact him
