As aside we've had a good week with Mori JH1GVY apologizing for his 137 khz carrier deviations. (In two days he's had reports from BY, VK, ZL and VE7 and those deviations made all the difference in "decoding")
I told him, politely, to leave it exactly as it was.
However, as others have found those wandering really do help distinguish friend from friend.
Jay perhaps you could persude KFI to put the repetitive wobble on again and increase its listener count :-)

As suspected KFI's carrier was in the mish mash near 640. Will take a look at your other
suggestions but was hoping for something closer to 500 kHz.
