This would be slightly off-topic, except I think the radio in question 
probably does tune down to 500 kHz with a little encouragement... :)

I'm looking for someone who would know exactly what a U.R.C. Six radio is, 
who made it, whether one can obtain a manual, etc.  I can say that it is a 
battery operated unit from the early Twenties, containing a whopping six 
tubes.  Looks to be a TRF circuit.  Beyond that, I'm baffled.  The dials are 
calibrated in arbitrary divisions and none are labelled as to function. 
Looks to have been a high-dollar item in its day.
