Not totally true Jim. All one has to do is use a common 5.188 microprocessor Xtal in a four component oscillator circuit (probably more stable than the 4060's oscillator)and then divide by 14 and 2 using two std divider chips. At least that's what I do. Far more important is whether or not 187.5 is a good area of the band for Lowfering, from a lack of interference standpoint.
