[Lowfer] ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK ALOT LIKE X-MAS!!

I was driving between Watertown Ny and St Albains Vt a few years ago
and it was 37 degrees outside air temp and snowing quarter sized
flakes, in June!!!

A bad winter here is three days of snow. Want to trade your snow for
tornados? Wettest summer on record here. Ground is saturated, very
noisy with little propagation, I see WEB several nights a week. No
reports on WMS, hope to be heard when ground and atmosphere dries out.

How about slowing PBO down and giving us a chance at a capture? Qrss
60 would be ideal.

This year I have captures of WEB and reports on WMS in all 12 months
so the saying there is no lowfer propagation in the months with no R's
is a myth. Good luck this winter when conditions are optimum.

Hi All,
Well its only Oct 15th and I have 3.5" snow here in the Poconos . The
wind is blowing hard and its still snowing.
The good news is my TX current is steady .This is the first snowstorm
my tx loop has seen so I m curious to see how she reacts. There is still
plenty of foliage on the trees too so they are all bending.
Does this mean its officially "LOWFER" season? I only got on the 1750
band last March so Im excited about my first real season !

73 and enjoy the snow!!

Rick
