[Lowfer] DIR on the air

DIR is on the air. I'd say again, except that a last minute crisis left me
rushing for the airport and I forgot to shut it off earlier in the week. But
it has cranked away and survived some storms here.

Should be around 172.945 kHz (Andy found something about 1.5 Hz higher that
may well have been DIR, but I can't measure more accurately than +/- 1 or 2
Hz right now))

I'm working on getting it towards the watering hole. I've got a DSS VFO I can
use, but I'll have to divide it down because it only offers 1 kHz steps. I'm
planning to build a "divide-by-n" box to put in line that will let me divide
by anything between 2 and 15. Hope to get that breadboarded this weekend, but
I'm not sure I'll have the time.
