[Lowfer] Antenna design idea question

Didn't DEX run a 50ft wire verticle on NC beacon when he was on lowfer? 
With no cap hat. 

I agree the wire verticles with top hats are the best. I would have 
prefered a wire verticle
but with no trees in back yard I had to do something else. 

  A sloper should have some of the properties of a verticle/cap hat. I 
ran one briefly to test
transmitter. Anyone remember a beacon with a sloper doing well?
