Good morning Jay:

First; congradulations on crossing the pond last night to Andrey.
I swa his captures. Thanks for the capture from last night. I will
admit that I'm surprised at the signal strength, especially with
it raining last night, and the antenna went out of tune while I was
asleep. I haven't gotten the wire down yet, I drove 2 - 4 foot rods
in yesterday spaced 2 feet from the 8 footer, one on each side,
connected them together, and tied them to the current radial system.
Here's a laugh for everyone today; I've put about 6 pounds of
" Kitty Litter " in the ground so far with these ground rods. My
step-daughter just looks at me and says " Nerdy stuff ". My next
door neighbor - inlaws ask my wife why I'm digging holes in the yard
and pouring cat litter in them, She just says " it's got something
to do with his Spiderweb thing in the air " . I get a kick from
all the staring, even hams are confused by my antenna. A police
officer was looking at it one day, and wanted to know what it was
for, and how far I could " get out " with it ? It wouldn't surprise
me if the men in the big white vans don't show up someday ! hi -hi
The copper radial system hopefully is next, trying to get all the
outdoor stuff done before it gets too cold here. I can rewind the
Paint bucket coil inside. *** Slowly, but surely; each change
seems to be making an overall improvement. Wonder if I'll ever
make it across the pond someday ??? " wishful thinkin " har - har.

73, and have a great day  :::
