Hi all:

As of 02:00 UTC ; " XR " switched frequency to 184.322 KHz for an
overnight experiment. I will be running a continuous carrier until
around 12:00 UTC on Tues. morning. I moved from the watering hole
so as not to disrupt the grabber viewing. If anyone wants to try
overnight captures to see if any unusual signal spikes occur that
" MIGHT BE " possibly related to the LEONIDS meteor shower, " XR "
will be providing a continous LF signal source to watch. Aside
from the usual QSB, and slow signal peaks; my interest is in
short signal peaks between the hours of 4am EST up to 7am EST.
This is when the heaviest meteor count is forecast to occur.
A fast scroll rate will be a necessity, I think no longer than
QRSS-3 speed or the sudden spikes ( if any ) will not show up
on the display. I know this will result in a great many captures
to have to look thru, but I hope some will look out of plain old
curiousity.
Anyway !!! I'll provide the signal source in case anyone wants
to experiment with some semi un-scientific data gathering.

73 to all for now ::::
